San Jose, CA – February 12, 2008 – Bridge Capital Holdings (NASDAQ: BBNK), whose subsidiary is Bridge Bank, National Association, one of the best performing full-service business banks in California and the Nation, announced today that it was named one of The Top 25 Banks of 2008 by U.S. Banker magazine in its January 2008 issue.

The Top 25 Banks of 2008 list was compiled based on return on equity performance as of September 30, 2007. Banks were selected from among all U.S. banks and thrifts traded on major exchanges, pink sheets, or bulletin boards and private banks that file with the SEC. Bridge Capital Holdings was listed in seventeenth position on the list of 25 banks.

In addition to being named to The Top 25 Banks of 2008, Bridge Capital Holdings was also ranked sixth among the publication’s Top 10 Community Banks of 2008. This ranking was based upon return on equity performance.

U.S. Banker also names an All Star Banking Team annually. For 2008, Daniel P. Myers, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridge Bank, N.A. and Bridge Capital Holdings, was named to the All-Star Banking Team as one of the Top 10 Bank CEOs in the nation.

For 2007, Bridge Capital Holdings reported record net income of $10.9 million, an increase of 26% from the prior year, and $1.57 earnings per diluted share, an increase of 24% from 2006. Net interest margin for 2007 remained strong at 6.76% along with return on assets of 1.45% and return on equity of 19.34%. The banking company reported year-end total assets of $775 million.
